Discussed in an interview on The Truth is Funny….Shift Happens! With Host Colette Marie Stefan: Dreams: An Access Point to Greater Consciousness with Kelly Lydick

Who is Kelly Lydick

Colette:  My guest today is Kelly Lydick, a dream expert that I am very excited to chat with about the subconscious mind.

Dreams have the power to provide greater self-understanding and looking at dream symbolism can unlock personal language through which the subconscious mind speaks to us.

Kelly received her MA in Writing and Consciousness from The New College of California. Her writing has appeared in Guernica, The Rumpus Drunken Boat, Switched On, Gutenberg, Natural Awakening, Jaw and the True Blue Spirit Magazine, among others. Her work has also been featured on NPR’s The Writer’s Block and she is the author of an experimental mastering the dream. She is also a contributing author to dreams that change our lives and a member of the co-founding editorial board an associate editor of eminence journal. She holds workshops, offers personal consultations for her company called “Waking The Dream”.

Kelly:  Good morning Colette. Listening to you read my bio, it’s so humbling and overwhelming. Thank you so much for having me this morning, I’m excited to connect with you and to hear from some of the listeners who wish to chat about dreams and the subconscious.

Dream Coaching…

Colette:  For those of us that may be unaware, can you tell us exactly what a Dream gate Coach is?

Kelly:  Yes so we work to look at the symbols of dreams and what meanings they carry with them.  As a Dream Gate Coach I am working to look at dream symbolism to uncover limiting beliefs or stuck emotions or anything else that’s going on in the subconscious mind that’s creating a block.

When we work with the dreams we’re really looking to uncover what’s going on behind the scenes of the conscious mind and to release some of those negative things, whatever they may be.

Colette:  What does it mean when someone has a recurring dream?

Kelly:  I’m glad you asked that question. I believe in parallel lives or parallel universes, and

sometimes when someone has a recurring dream, we’re actually using the dream as a portal to experience whatever that parallel life is.
