Discussed in an interview on The Truth is Funny….Shift Happens! With Host Colette Marie Stefan: Have Fun Unleashing the Power in your DNA with Charan Surdhar
Charan Surdhar holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and a master’s degree in human genetics. She worked in the field of genetics for 13 years, identifying genetic mutations for a whole host of genetic diseases and contributed to scientific papers as well as textbooks. She works specifically with genetic diseases assisting to release the energy in the form of emotions, beliefs, perceptions that get in the way of the natural flow of the body to bring about positive gene expression.
Charan is leading the paradigm shift in the revolutionary new field of epigenetics. She has been featured on Hidden Science TV and Punk Science. She is an author and follows her passion to make easy to understand videos explaining epigenetics.
Charan: …the shift was really to move from the paradigm where people think…they’re victim to the biology, which is genetic.
And then move to epigenetics, which is that the environment actually influences your genetics, your DNA. Moving into that field has allowed me to work with people to allow them to align to the source within themself. And that is where their DNA shifts into alignment to their innate wellbeing and health.

Colette: I was at the Interior Wellness Festival in October and on the Saturday I was working with a woman and I bring people out of the audience up and I just ask them: what do you want to shift here?
And on the Saturday, the one lady had such a horrible pain in her right hip and…it was about nagging doubts because she was about to make a big life change and the pain disappeared instantly.
But interestingly enough it was also— she got in touch with me after and her— the dynamics down the family line also changed because this was directly related to her mother energy.
When we work with ourselves and we’re carrying things that are not just ours, were carrying things that we’ve inherited from our ancestors, the traumas that they’ve experienced.

Colette: The Mitochondria of the cell is actually passed on the part of the cell that generates energy and that is passed on down through the maternal line. Can you explain a little bit about that? Because I feel like when I, like when I was looking into the Mitochondria, because the Mitochondria is what’s keeps you young, it’s your energy source for every cell in your body. Do you want to explain a little bit like why that, why it is that it comes from the maternal line and not the paternal.
Charan: The Mitochondria have their own DNA as well. And the Mitochondria are passed on. That is— literally— the mitochondrial DNA goes with it… And so…every child inherits that. And so its role is to create energy which is called ATP.
Charan: …the physical body…there’s a lot of energy that all the body…the whole of it is energy and so, you know, the work you and I both do is we’re looking at what that energy is and in the examples that you gave with the woman with the hip…it’s like, well, suddenly that energy moves and then it just shifts everything into place because that’s the innate state that anyone is available to anyone. So the ATP is what’s creating the energy for all of these changes on a physical level.
Colette: I’d like to talk about this a little bit more because this is… fundamental in anti aging health because if you start to understand this energy at a higher level, then we can apply that to your energetic shifts and empower the DNA to be even more youthful.
I’ve been working on a protocol for anti-aging for many years now and the Mitochondria– that’s the energy source. I feel that, on some level…if the father does not— because I was asking you…when a fetus is in the womb, I think it’s at around 40 days, every egg that she has will be– she already has in her body. And I was asking you, what about the sperm for the male? And you said not until puberty, right?
Charan: Their sperm doesn’t form until puberty, but they still get the mitochondria from the mom. Um, so that’s the energy, the energy. In the part of the cell that creates energy. So they get that from the.

Charan: …the physical chemistry and all of that is…that is when they kick into action, to be the sexual beings. Whereas for females that’s already impregnated in them they are already ready with the eggs in them.
Colette: I noticed like with, with young women, well with men and women, but honest, a spiritual weaknesses tend to revolve and in cycles of seven. And so when a girl turns– they say…most girls, until they’re about seven years old, are pretty sure of themselves…if they have good upbringing and it’s around the age of eight that they start wondering if they’re not measuring up to society’s standards.
And then at the age of 14, I mean it’s really gone down now. A lot of girls are reaching puberty a lot earlier, but I’m like generally by 14 most women have, you know, they’ve reached puberty and they usually are on their menstrual cycle by then.
I noticed…with young women… spiritual weaknesses tend to revolve and in cycles of seven.
And then when you get 21, if I have a room of like 50 people and I asked how many of you got married or had a baby or made a huge life decision at the age of planning? One half and the hands will go up and then at 28, that’s when women again choose to get married, have a baby, like make these really, really huge choices.
And I’ve noticed this as a pattern that goes on and so on. It comes up spiritual, like if you tested energetically, it feels like, this is a spiritual issue.
There’s a weakness with the spiritual side. And when we start being able to separate and designate the energy from the mother and the father and we know what the inherited weaknesses are down the line, I feel like it would really speed up on people’s ability to return to homeostasis in the body…
People get very resistant to even good change…it can be all positive things, but if there’s rapid, rapid change, people have a tendency to back away from it because people rarely step into their power when they’re in their comfort zone. -Colette Marie Stefen
